I can echo the sentiments of this blog. I often have parents tell me that their child had such a wonderful year with me and such and such isn't as great the next year or years, but you know what? We all make mistakes and I make many. It's how you deal with the mistakes that makes you a teacher the students will love. It's ok to apologize, it's good to listen, and it's important to say, "You're right and I'm wrong." It's also important to remember that most teachers out there want the best for their students. They don't want to be known as the teacher that sucked the fun out of learning...
