Christmas Vacation!

I'm sick.  I've been sick since Sunday with a sore throat.  I stayed home from work yesterday.  Now today it has turned into a full-blown cold.  But thankfully....

We are on vacation until January 4th.  Looking forward to lots of relaxing family time, we don't have any big plans, just some Christmas traditions to do.

I thought that as principal I wouldn't receive many Christmas gifts at school.  I was wrong, think I received more.  I have enough candy to start a candy store and am thankful for such a giving community.  One of my favorite gifts was a card with a hand-written message of thanks.

And today I got to wear my light-up necklace which I bought at Walmart at the beginning of December and have kept in my desk drawer for this very day!  It has three different settings!
