Box Girl

I finished reading Box Girl: My Part Time Job as an Art Installation this week.  It's a memoir and it was ok.  I enjoyed reading it, but it would never make any top lists for me.  I did read one quote that I've been thinking about.  The quote is by Joan Didion.

“That was the year, my twenty-eighth, when I was discovering that not all of the promises would be kept, that some things are in fact irrevocable and that it had counted after all, every evasion and every procrastination, every mistake, every word, all of it.”

Scary thought, if true, and I suppose on some level, it is true.  Every choice (no matter how small) leads to a different choice.
