Sam and I watched The Great Gatsby last weekend. I've never read the book and knew nothing about the movie. I was dozing off at the beginning, but then something caught my attention and I ended up watching the whole movie!
I thought it was excellent, but found the futility of Gatsby's obsession very depressing. I didn't know who I was cheering for at the beginning, but it soon became clear. I put the book on my list of books to read because I'd love to see how accurate the movie was compared to the book.
Also, Call the Midwife Season 3 begins on March 30 at 8:00pm
And Orange is the New Black doesn't have a release date yet but is should be ready for spring.
I'm excited about both, but until then I'm going to try to watch Mad Men. I always have a hard time starting a new series, but then no problem watching it obsessively until there aren't any episodes left.

What's always bothered me about Gatsby is the unworthiness of his obsession. Daisy is such a spoiled waste of space. But I haven't seen the new movie, yet. Mad Men is fantastic. I remember watching the pilot when it aired and being completely floored that the sexpot of the show was probably a size 10 or 12.
