Back to Blogging!

I've held off on blogging this week because one of my goals for this year is to blog in an organized fashion.  So I've been saving up the things I want to blog about and today is Day 1.

The big event from this week was Toby's broken tooth.  On Tuesday he fell in the classroom and hit his mouth on a chair.  He broke off half of his tooth, a front one.  He didn't have any pain or bleeding, but it was very traumatic for me.  We went to the dentist and she said it was a "good" break and that she would bond it.  We went back the next day for bonding and it came out great!  He is supposed to take it easy with the tooth for the first week, but of course that is easier said than done.  I am so thankful that we live in a country where we have access to good dental care and I am thankful for dental insurance!

Lucy had a basketball game yesterday.  They lost again, but she scored another basket.  Toby had hockey yesterday and is doing very well.  I'm looking forward to going to his games in September.

Lucy is getting very busy in life, which means that we are busy, and spending a lot of time at the school or in Whitinsville.  She has basketball practice on Mondays, Bible Study on Tuesdays, orchestra on Thursdays, and a game on Saturdays.

They also went to Kids' Club at the WCC on Friday evening.  By Saturday morning, I was ready for a relaxing day.

Lucy slept over my mother's on Friday.  Amelia slept over on Saturday and Toby is there now, so we've been down a child all weekend.  It's been nice to just have two. :)

Sam's truck transmission officially went so now he is driving a 2001 Ford Focus to work.  It might not fit plywood or sheetrock, but we are thankful that we have it until he finds something new.

Tomorrow is my birthday.  I am celebrating by getting to work at 7 and leaving at 7 at night.  I'm getting sushi takeout for dinner, and Sam is getting me a box of pineapple flowers from Edible Arrangements.  Sounds good to me!

This is the painting that Lucy painted for my mother.  They had it framed and put in the living room.
