We are doing it...
Parts of it feel hard - getting up SO early, making lunches, helping new students navigate the transition, showing parents how the pick-up/dismissal line work...
Parts of it feel good - time to work during the day, going to bed earlier, satisfaction at the end of the day that all of the "to-dos" are done, smooth middle school and new teacher transitions for Lucy, Toby and Amelia...
We're tired, mostly. Lucy and Toby are off to their middle school retreat. Plans for the weekend are minimal - survival, relaxation and getting ready for another week.
