Lucy's 12th Birthday

Lucy turned 12 yesterday.  The celebrations began with a Butter Braid breakfast in bed.  She picked tacos for dinner.  Toby made brownies for our brownie sundaes and she opened her gifts.  Unfortunately, two of them have not arrived yet (through Etsy) but hopefully soon.  She'll have a sleepover with some friends this weekend, a little party on Saturday night with family, and then see her Boston grandparents on Sunday.

I read this blog post today from Momastery and thought it was very good, and timely. Watching Him Walk Away...
