Somehow I made $8.11 yesterday. I almost doubled my total profits in one day. I'll be able to quit my job before I know it.
Speaking of money, today the students voted on what they wanted to buy with their profits from the store. We ended up purchasing bees through Heifer International (and got a tweet from them thanking us!) and we also go a shaved ice machine with syrups and cones, a doughnut machine, a pogo stick, and a wiffle ball and bat.
The students definitely enjoyed making these choices and obviously we are all looking forward to eating Icees and doughnuts all next year. :)
