1. So you know how I had said that I made $.10 this month on my blog, well two days ago it jumped up to $2.78. Thank you to whoever did something that got me a free coffee.
2. Why does snow keep catching me by surprise this year? Saturday was unexpected and annoying to drive in. Now we're getting a storm that's heading to be a blizzard tomorrow into Wednesday. I'm thinking we won't have school on Wednesday which means I need to think through how I'm going to fit everything in a four day week already, with one day including a field trip!
3. Amelia went to a birthday party at Zoinks this morning. While she was there I grocery shopped, had a key made, dropped things off at my grandmother's and made it back for the last half hour of the party.
4. Then we brought Lucy to a friend's house in Whitinsville and I worked for 1 hour exactly at the school, which meant I didn't get everything done, but I had promised myself I wouldn't spend more than an hour on a day off, tomorrow's another day, right?
5. Speaking of tomorrow, Toby is having his tooth rebonded at 4:00 (while it is snowing) and we have to cut short another activity because of it, which is annoying, on top of it just being annoying in general. We'll give this dentist one more chance and then look elsewhere...
6. Sam is picking Lucy up from basketball practice so we get to stay home instead of heading out again which is lovely.
7. We went to Michael's this afternoon and I bought some crafts for the students to make to bring to the nursing home this weekend. The total came to the exact amount of my gift card, which I received from a student for Christmas.
8. I received a memory foam pillow for my birthday from my parents. It is like a rock and I love it. I think if I threw it at someone it might kill them.
9. We got a car wash today, just in time for the storm apparently.
10. I'm looking at vacation places to go with Sam (alone) in August. We have cruises, all-inclusive resorts in the DR, travel in the US, and all sorts of other things on the list. How does one decide when there are so many options? I'm finding it very tiring.
11. I am not cooking anything exciting this week, but I am starting the 6 week lunch plan that I purchased for the kids' school lunches. Tomorrow they have apples/peanut butter, cucumbers, carrots, ranch dressing, and a granola bar. I also put in some popcorn because it didn't look like very much food. We'll see what they say tomorrow afternoon.
