I'm feeling a bit of panic when I let myself think that it is already Tuesday and I've already had 4 days of my Christmas vacation.
But when I'm not concentrating on that we have been very busy, mainly cooking, but also doing our advent activities each day (since we have been gone in the evening), going to a Christmas party at Nathan and Anne's, watching Yes, Virginia (and Turbo), and making sure all of Lucy's homework is done.
We decorated sugar cookies today and I made a goat cheese ball for tonight at my parents, and then I made sausage stuffing and peppermint rice krispie treats for tomorrow.
Sam will be home soon and we will head to the Christmas Eve service at church and then to my parents to celebrate Christmas. Toby said he likes Christmas Eve better than Christmas Day, which I told him is funny because when I was little I felt the same. Christmas Eve with Grammy and Bob was always wonderful and exciting. That is always when I got the gifts I remember the most, like my Heart Family. :)
Tomorrow morning we will be home and then head to Boston for the Bowler Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
