Weekend

These were taken last week.  Lucy was at my mother's, so she still needs to do hers.









This was a much needed weekend.  We had very few plans.  Amelia had her last soccer Saturday morning.  I went to that, and it was freezing.  Then we visited Grammy S.  Lucy slept over my mother's Friday night and went to basketball on Saturday.  Toby went to basketball, a bowling birthday party and slept over my mother's last night.

We took Amelia and Lucy to the Natick Mall last night to look around.  We did buy a bowl at Anthropologie because I love every bowl in that store.

Today I stayed in my bathrobe all day and slept in very late.  I can't remember the last time I slept in and it was wonderful.  I switched over Toby and Lucy's clothes, rearranged Toby's room a bit to fit in a bigger bureau, gave the birds their semi-annual cage cleaning, and did other little things around the house.

I'm going to take a bath in a bit and do some schoolwork while watching the Red Sox.  This past week was extremely busy and I didn't leave work before 5:00 on any of the days, except Friday.  Hopefully this week will be better.  Speaking of Friday, the plan was for me to take Toby and Amelia to OSV for their free trick or treat event.  The free part was new this year.  It is a 20 minutes drive and it took us 2 hours, 15 minutes to get there and by then it was over.  They closed early due to the chaos they had created.  It was fun to read other people's comments on their Facebook page.  Also on Friday we dipped beeswax candles in school.  Once we worked out the kinks it was fun!
