We had a busy weekend that started with Amelia going to soccer and participating in soccer. I might have had to bribe her with a trip to Toys R Us, but it worked, and I won't have to again, because she loved it and she was the only one on her team to score a goal. She's good, aggressive and goes after the ball.
I added the next level to my worm composter, so now I have two. The top level will have the food and will draw the worms up while the soil they are making will stay in the first level. Lucy and I watched a worm literally go into this strawberry, right through a hole, just like a worm in an apple.
We went to the Big E yesterday and had a great time, and then today we went to http://www.startonthestreet.org/. I had forgotten how much time it takes to go through the festival, but we had fun and I bought a couple of cute things. They really do a great job having such a large variety of vendors and activities for the children all throughout.
I want to write a post on school because there are many exciting things happening in my classroom, but it will have to wait.
