Wednesday

1.  Yesterday we went to the library and Toby took out the remainder of the knight and castle books that he has not read.  He was sitting on the couch looking at the pictures and I heard, "So, are those the Mongols, or what?  Oh look, the Persians!"  (This shows his Age of Empires knowledge.)

 

2.  When Lucy was in the shower, I stood on a stool and poured a bucket of cold water on her.  It was very funny.  Then I went to a meeting at school.  When I got home and got into bed, I was greeted with wet sheets and pillow...she got me back.

 

3.  Tomorrow is Grandparent's Day at school and it's very exciting!  We have been practicing our musical for quite a few weeks now and the students are excited about having their grandparents in our classroom. 

 

4.  Our curriculum coordinator introduced me to studyladder.com and I am very excited about this!  I have it set up for next week and we'll see how it goes.  It's free and it tracks the students' progress and you can open up the sections/activities that you want them to work on.

 

5.  I am sitting in the dining room on the computer and looking around at everything that needs to be unpacked from school today and readied for school tomorrow...and I'm doing nothing...and I don't feel like doing anything...and this is a real problem...I wish I had some elves...
